Lynda, although we were expecting more people, there were only 4 of us (me and 3 women - 2 of whom are new). One of the women is connected with the synagogue where Prager will be speaking next week. She plans to set up a table to invite folks to join local Prager discussion groups.
It turned out that the other woman who showed up is a neighbor of mine. Although I've never met her before, she knows my wife and my dogs.
One of the things we talked about was your experience with anti-Bush Jews in Elkins Park.
Alan, Now that I've "come out of the closet" at my new synagogue, we'll see what happens there. The rabbi and I have already crossed swords, but in a nice way, LOL.
Alan, after a bit of discussion we've agreed to have every other Tuesday night *micro-only* discussion group at the Wynnewood Borders (happiness, male/female, ultimate issues). Finally.
"Being on the Left means never having to say you're sorry."
"First tell the truth, then state your opinion."
"I prefer clarity to agreement."
"It's not the world that hates America; it's the Left that hates America."
"The Baby Boomers ushered in the Age of Stupidity."
"Those who are kind to the cruel will be cruel to the kind."
“All happy people are grateful. Ungrateful people cannot be happy. We tend to think that being unhappy leads people to complain, but it’s truer to say that complaining leads to people becoming unhappy.”

Any chance of having a meeting at the Barnes & Noble in Moorestown, so that I could come?
Alan,
How did the meeting go?
